Ingredients
- 2 sheets Puff Pastry Sheets (thawed)
- 2 cups Fresh Spinach (chopped)
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 1 Egg (beaten for wash)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped spinach in olive oil until wilted. Let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooled spinach with ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Roll out thawed puff pastry sheets on a clean surface and cut into squares.
- Place 1–2 tablespoons of filling on each square; fold into triangles or rectangles and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
