- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Blanch the Brussels sprouts in boiling salted water for 4-5 minutes until tender yet vibrant. Drain and cool under cold water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crisp (about 7-8 minutes). Remove with a slotted spoon and let drain on paper towels.
- Increase heat to medium-high, add blanched Brussels sprouts and pecans to the skillet, sautéing for about 4-5 minutes until crispy.
- Stir in ground mustard, then deglaze with apple cider vinegar, scraping up browned bits for flavor.
- Return turkey bacon to the skillet, add maple syrup, toss well, and cook for an additional minute. Adjust seasoning as needed.
